Ch. Kurush (27" tall, short coupled, highly marked black/red dog) started his career at 19 months with a BOB from Mr. Wm. Kendrick.

Sidebar: The older gentleman kindly placed Kurush at the end of the line and kept putting dogs in front of him as they went around. He rearranged dogs in between. Then, he went to the end of the line and pointed to Kurush for 1st. For winners Mr. Kendrick -- known as Wild Bill Kendrick -- also put Kurush last and puppies first in his line up, stating he wanted to give everyone a fair shake.

Well, Dr. Theo Kjelstrom DECADES LATER did that SAME thing at the Chicago Intl. when he finished Ch. Dhrughatos in Feb. 2007 for a 4 pt. Major. The rationale was the same: to rest the Open dog and be fair when revisiting pups and other dogs. Kind of cool, huh?

Kauravya received majors from breeder-judge Betty Stites, and finished with a 3 pointer from Mr. E. Tipton. At 4 STRAIGHT shows he shared winners honors with litter sister, Ch. Hadiya. He also received points from Mr. Al Treen, Ms. Michele Billings, Mr. Bill Fetner, and Mrs Laura Wills.
